Five years ago, I bought this domain name intending to start a blog, but it got lost between my husband and I running businesses, having five school-aged kids, and a handful of various animals running amuck.

I'm back now after some life changes and ready to introduce myself!

I'm Becca. I was born and raised in Texas, newly 38, and in my second marriage with kids on both ends, mashed together, soaring (semi) harmoniously through all of life's adventures. My interests are pretty average, with lots of food, coffee, vacations, fitness, and taking care of my family. I also have ADHD, leaning hard into hyperactivity and lacking impulse control. So I add a little "quirky" spin to everything, like leaving piles of stuff all over the house because I started organizing the pantry or purging the craft closet and then moved on before I finished. Or flooding the bathroom because I forgot I left the water running until the water met me in the living room and asked what was for dinner. Yay, how quirky and fun! I was the weird homeschooled kid that always wore overalls and never brushed her hair. Although I don't wear overalls any longer (maybe I should?), I still forget to brush my hair pretty frequently. If you are still here, we'll probably be best best best friends!

I have a plan here. I've had this idea about building a community around regular people. People that work, people that don't work, people that have kids, people that have kids with 4 legs and people that wish their kids would move out already! I want realness and fun and to bring lightness to your day. I know others do this; I follow some, and they do a great job, but I want to do it too. The only problem is I don't know how; I barely know how to use Instagram. I had to do A LOT of research to setup this blog and I feel WAY over my head. So while I'm learning, I will be transparent with everything I'm learning and take you along for the ride. So if you're interested, you can know too!

The first thing is I've challenged myself to post on Instagram every day for 365 days. I'll post daily on Instagram from a list I bought on Etsy that gives ideas for posts (because I'm unoriginal), which seems to be for picking and choosing things that relate to you and resonate with your followers. But where is the fun in that? I'm doing it all! I'll also write a weekly blog update about life and throw in all the neat things I'm learning and tools I'm using for this new adventure! So if you don't want to miss out, subscribe to my blog below and follow me on Instagram!

I hope you enjoy this as much as I will!
